Guacamole was a staple at all my family BBQ's. I was in charge of making it and it was devoured within an hour. This guacamole is chunky, citrusy, and packs generous amounts of salt to bring out all the simple ingredients. Make it in 10 minutes and serve it up as party appetizer, snack, or topping on a main dish.

Lemon Squeezer
Knife
Medium Mixing Bowl
Servings
6-8 Servings
Ingredients
4 ripe avocados
Juice of 4 limes, about 1/4 cup
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp fresh black pepper
1/8 cup diced yellow onion
2 roma tomatoes, about 1 cup
1 heaping tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
Recipe Instructions
Cut your avocado in half length wise and de-pit them. Start to cut your avocado into cubes, using your knife to cut horizontally and then vertically to form about 1" cubes. Dont worry if the cubes are not exact, the chunkier the better.
Using your spoon, scoop the avocado cubes into your bowl. Then, chop your onion, tomato, and cilantro to add to your bowl.
Squeeze lime into your bowl using your squeezer. Add your salt and pepper and mix for at least 30 seconds.
Taste your guacamole. Adjust with lime and salt accordingly. Your guacamole should be very citrusy but will balance out with generous amounts of salt.
Serve your guacamole and enjoy on toast or with tortilla chips!
